This Disclosure Elearning Course is split into four parts:

Part 1 – Introduces the concept of whistleblowing and explains why it is so important. The Public Interest Disclosure Act is explored in detail, alongside relevant financial regulations.

Part 2 – Explains what firms need to do to adhere to the regulations, including outlining the role of the Whistleblowers’ Champion. It then details when and how employees should raise a genuine concern in order to be protected by PIDA.

Part 3 – Focuses on what happens if firms or their staff do not abide by Whistleblowing regulations. A recent high-profile case is used as an example.

Part 4 – Contains a multiple-choice knowledge test based on the course content.

Course duration: this Disclosure Elearning Course should take around 40 minutes to complete. Learners can bookmark their progress before exiting the course and resume from that point.
