INTRODUCTION

An objective, externally-conducted review of your current diversity and inclusion activities, policy and practice will focus your D&I strategy and actions. Marshalls carries out audits which help organisations understand their diversity and inclusion strengths and gaps, hear the day-to-day experiences of employees, and constructively point them in the right direction with recommendations, priorities, and goals.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice Eastbourne commissioned Marshalls to conduct a diversity audit, looking at our policy and practice as well as engaging with staff, volunteers and community groups. We were very impressed by the professionalism they brought to this piece of work. There was a series of planning meetings with a core group before work began and then the audit itself was done in a focussed way. The Marshalls consultant engaged very effectively with our stakeholders and gathered a wealth of information. The resulting report was excellent, insightful and comprehensive. It both showed the areas where we are performing well and those areas for improvement and I am confident that it has given us a strong basis for an EDI work programme over the next couple of years. Overall a very good piece of work.
