Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
Our work in equality and diversity e-learning began in 2002 when an insurance broker (Markel International) asked our MD David Marshall to design an online diversity in the workplace module.
Back then Marshall ACM partnered with ACAS to be advisors on content. Now we have in-house expertise on the topic whilst retaining close links with advisory bodies and being in a fantastic position to source the best consultants in their respective areas.
Our choice of subject matter expert will vary from say a project where a government body wants to show an external body compliance with the Equality Act 2010, to an investment bank wanting to raise awareness of unconscious bias within senior recruitment managers or perhaps a university wanting to raise awareness with teaching staff on how to design lessons and educational resources which are accessible – we have a wide range of in-house and external expertise to draw upon.
Building on our signature e-learning course ‘Diversity in the Workplace’, we’ve created a suite of diversity-themed courses suitable for the private, public and third sector. Some of our courses, such as the Equality Delivery System are designed for NHS organisations, while courses such as Unconscious Bias would make an important addition to any diversity or equality training programme.
