Changes at Marshall Elearning

24th August 2015

You may have noticed that things have changed a little around here…

Firstly, we have a new name. It was in 2002 – 13 years ago – that I opened the doors to Marshall ACM and launched our first e-learning course. The ACM stood for Active Career Management, which was when I was still a consultant in the career management division at Penna, so Active Career Management seemed the right approach for the start of my consultancy work.

We’ve changed our name to Marshall E-Learning, which I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s a much simpler proposition while still sticking to our trusted brand heritage that we’ve built up over the years.

Next, we have a new website to reflect our new name. Bookmark marshallelearning.com now, but while you’re here feel free to look around our new website at your leisure. I also wanted to point out a few particular items that might be of interest.

  1. Fast-track to a free demo: Each of our courses now has a demo. Get in touch now and we can give you our best assessment of what service or product would be most suitable for you.
  2. Our new Unconscious Bias Tool: For a glimpse of what to expect from our courses, why not take a look at our new Unconscious Bias tool, built in partnership with enei.
  3. Our Diversity Video: Increase your organisation’s performance by up to 80% by recruiting a diverse workforce. Watch our new Diversity in the Workplace video for more

Lastly, we’re moving offices. Just up the road from our old offices, but much nearer to London’s beautifully redeveloped Southbank. Our new home is in the Metal Box Factory, which is home to more than 150 new and growing businesses, complete with a 20,000 square foot rooftop extension.

Despite having the new offices I like to think we retained our start-up culture. We practice agile working, with full time staff having the ability to work for Marshall E-Learning from their home or part-time. Everyone is allowed to contribute to areas of the business that interest them and as a result word gets round that we are a nice business to work for and so our team grows.

With a growing team, I had to recognise that I could not be a bottleneck in the business, so James Sellers has been appointed the new General Manager at Marshall E-Learning. Now we need to recruit more talented people. As we invest in the people and resources to take on more of the larger corporate e-learning projects we have moved into in the last two years. For our latest vacancies, please email James Sellers.

When at a previous consultancy, I was told that my voice was sometimes a bit cockney. It might seem strange, but this was one of my great motivators to go and start up my business. Now, at Marshall E-learning we have a flourishing business with a bright future, where people are allowed to have whatever accent they like. We’re all about diversity and inclusion, after all.

We’d love to show you around the new offices, discuss where the future of e-learning is heading and how we can help support you and your organisation’s goals.

Get in touch with me now to book a meeting or give me a call on 0845 123 3909.

I look forward to catching up and showing you more of the new Marshall E-Learning.
