Sustainable Finance and Greenwashing Training
COURSE OVERVIEW
What is Sustainable Finance and Greenwashing?
“Failure to act on climate-related risks represents a failure to act in the long-term interests of investors.”
Euan Munro, CEO, Aviva Investors
Sustainable finance seeks to align investing with environmental, social and governance (ESG) goals, but it is grappling with several problems, notably complexity, subjectivity, and greenwashing. Greenwashing is where firms exaggerate or make false claims about their own green credentials to make themselves look more sustainable than they actually are.
This course has been designed to help people understand Sustainable Finance and Greenwashing through real-life case studies and hypothetical examples. Learners will be assessed on their knowledge and understanding through a test at the end of the course.
Adjustments can be made to suit the needs of your company – please contact us for more information.
