Utilising the specialist knowledge of Barnardos highly experienced child protection experts.
Our innovative Child Protection e-learning course has been designed for the education but can be tailored to any workplace, utilising the specialist knowledge of Barnardos highly experienced child protection experts.
The course provides learners with an awareness of legislation and Government policy supporting Child Protection, and an understanding of the role of education providers. The programme aims to provide underpinning knowledge enabling learners to:
- Contribute to and take necessary action to safeguard children and young people
- Recognise and respond to concerns about a child in need
- Understand their own role and that of other agencies
- Communicate and act appropriately to safeguard children
- Know how to access support
- Ensure that appropriate documentation is maintained.
All legislation and best practice updates are written by Barnardos which ensures your training is always relevant and up-to-date.
The course incorporates a range of methods including quizzes, web links and a final assessment quiz to develop learners understanding and confidence in dealing with this difficult issue.
Course duration:Ā This course takes about 45 minutes to complete. Learners have the option to bookmark progress and complete the course in chunks.
