Last week Marshalls hosted a thought-provoking and somewhat unsettling Client Community Webinar on Inclusive Boards, presented by our expert Associate, Teresa Norman.
Teresa spoke on what we can learn from recent corporate disasters about the diversity and inclusion-related questions that Boards should be concerned with and should ask, in order to avoid these catastrophes. She shared high-profile case studies which show how lack of diversity of thought, fixed beliefs, non-inclusive behaviours, and failure to listen to challenging or dissenting voices, led to critically poor decisions with calamitous and sometimes deathly results.
