Marshall User Group Meetings

29th May 2013

Wednesday 15 May saw the launch of our first User Group meeting in London. Over 20 organisations attended, with strong representation from our legal, education and healthcare sector clients.

Our London user group was very lively, with lots of client suggestions and an enjoyable discussion about how different organisations from various sectors use their e-learning.

All held the view that their sector faced the greatest challenges to roll-out of e-learning, so clients enjoyed discussing the similarities and differences they face providing workplace e-learning.

Our new Diversity in the Workplace course and app

Our equality and diversity e-learning course was by far the most widely used course amongst the group.

We also demonstrated our new interactive Equality and Diversity in the Workplace course. It received positive and encouraging feedback and sparked a short debate on the challenges of making the course mandatory and getting senior management support with this challenge. The user group felt that this interactive version may help our other clients engage and bring it in as a mandatory training course within their organisation.

Participant’s attention was drawn to the new accompanying diversity training app(you can see the screenshots in the above slideshow), complimentary to all existing clients who currently have our e-learning programme. It’s the first of its kind in the UK and it sparked great interest!

Direct feedback trumps web surveys

A personal thank you to all who attended from David Marshall, CEO at Marshall ACM: At this time of year I have to plan how to invest in my business and the best way to do this is to get direct feedback from clients it is far stronger than sending out a web survey.

Of course clients may voice concerns about an aspect of our service but I would rather hear about these concerns in this personable environment and get the chance to address them.

We really enjoyed the London session and were delighted with the feedback about the new diversity training app. Thank you to everyone who took the time out to attend, your support is very much appreciated.
