Conversation with Maggie Semple

Our Head of Diversity, Ann Allcock sat down with Maggie Semple OBE to talk about what it truly means to be an antiracist organisation, and what that can look like. Maggie shares her top tips, and explains how a business can go above and beyond to ensure they are being antiracist.

We have recently launched a Managers Toolkit to accompany the Let’s Talk about Race module. It is designed to support managers or other facilitators to discuss the topics presented in the module in greater depth with their team or with other small groups of employees in face-to-face or virtual sessions, using the content of the course as a prompt. The approach taken is that the space for these conversations must be a safe environment for everyone, and the toolkit discusses the potentially sensitive and triggering nature of the subject matter.
