The Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SM&CR) seeks to ensure that financial institutions adhere to exemplary standards of governance and accountability. It requires the most senior people in a firm who perform key roles to attain approval from the Financial Conduct Authority or Prudential Regulation Authority before starting their roles.

This course has been designed to help people understand the requirements of the SM&CR through real-life case studies and hypothetical examples. Learners will be assessed on their knowledge and understanding through a test at the end of the course.
