The Information Commissioner’s Office is the UK’s independent regulator for Data Protection and Freedom of Information, with key responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 2018 and Freedom of Information Act 2000. It exists to empower people through information.
In this course you will learn about the Information Commissioner’s Office’s role in upholding information rights, its statutory responsibilities, and its operational structure. Finally, you will meet some of the key personnel and understand their roles and responsibilities.
Learners will be assessed on their knowledge and understanding through a test at the end of the course.
