Safeguarding Adults at Risk

2nd June 2011

Give your staff the confidence they need to protect vulnerable adults

Safeguarding work enables adults to retain independence, well-being and the choice to live a life free from abuse and neglect. It is about preventing abuse and neglect as well as promoting good practice for responding to concerns on a multi-agency basis.

A key element to safeguarding is to make recruitment as safe as possible. But even if properly applied, no safe recruitment policies can provide 100% protection for vulnerable people.

This e-learning course provides staff with an awareness of legislation and Government policy supporting the protection of vulnerable adults.
