Elearning LMS Supports Scottish Highland Colleges

19th August 2012

We’re developing an elearning LMS (Learning Management System) for Scottish colleges based in the Highlands, a large geographical area with the lowest population density in the UK.

So we’ve devised an online training solution for all Highland colleges across the region that’s both practical and cost effective.

Perth College, Inverness College, University of Highlands and Islands Executive Office, North Highland College, Argyll College, Moray College, Shetland College, Lews Castle College and West Highland College will have an e-learning portal providing access to a variety of our e-learning courses:

  • Diversity in the Workplace
  • Diversity in Learning and Teaching
  • Child Protection
  • Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults
  • Bullying and Harassment
  • Data Protection, and
  • Customer Service

The colleges, with a total potential staff population of 20,000, will also use our learning management system (LMS) which offers full reporting, reminders and easy-to-use administrative access.

David Marshall, CEO of Marshall ACM said:??We’??re delighted with this initiative after several years of working successfully with Perth and Moray College along with the University of Highlands and Islands Executive. It’??s a fantastic example of a consortium working together to save public money – we look forward to supporting the colleges with their ongoing training support needs.’??
