Equal Pay Day article in HR Review website

An article published on the HR Review website entitled “Equal Pay Day asking why women still get paid?5K less than men” today, Equal Pay Day (#equalpay on your Twitter timeline) features comments by Marshall ACM Associate Jude-Martin Etuka.
The feature looks at the gaps in pay between men and women working in different professions and sectors, both full-time and part-time. The TUC believes that tougher action is needed as four decades of equal pay legislation has only halved, not eradicated differences in pay.
Jude-Martin argues that a “seismic shift in attitudes and behaviours” is required and that this needs a movement from “equality” to “equity” in workplace practices.
