“The Marshall ACM Online Equality Impact Assessment Toolkit (e-learning tutorial and accompanying database), was commissioned by Durham University in 2008. Since then it has reduced our administrative burden around impact assessments and enabled the university to quickly report on progress on assessments by department. Marshalls have now redeveloped and released a much improved system with very helpful new features such as a action planner, automatic reminders, a question editor and online resources guide. The new system can work as an equality impact assessment toolkit but also as a policy management tool for a university. Marshall ACM have provided highly responsive support and guidance throughout our work with them and this means that the system has enabled the university to gather a great deal of sustainable momentum on impact assessments.”
