Our Apprenticeships for Employers elearning course is a short (20-minute) course designed to provide managers with all the information they need to make an informed decision about employing an apprentice.
The course has been developed to support managers throughout the decision-making process and looks at these key topics:

- Recruitment strategies
- Levels of apprenticeships
- Practical issues such as wages
- Understand the increasing role of apprenticeships in the current economic climate
- Weigh up the benefits of apprentices, against new full-time employees.
In addition, the course provides advice on practical issues such as:
- Introducing a new apprentice into the workplace
- Wage levels, and
- Resources – where to obtain further information and support.

This highly interactive course blends rich graphics and audio-visual content with a variety of question-types encouraging learners to take practical steps towards employing an apprentice. An optional end-of-course test assesses learners on the level of knowledge they’ve retained. Pass rates can be set as required.
